FREE GIVEAWAY! And available on I Tunes and Google Play..
Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN and Santa Barbara, CA Walking Guides
I’m thrilled to announce another FREE giveaway of my article on Charleston, SC as a guided walking app! What does that mean?…some of you might be wondering. Once again, I’ve teamed up with GPSMyCity, a travel-publishing site, that takes travel articles and embeds the GPS coordinates of the destinations in the article, so that it becomes your own personalized walking tour. Instead of having a guide book, you can just look at the app on your phone! The best part is it doesn’t require internet access, and it’s free! Also available on I Tunes and Google Play now are my guides on Nashville and Santa Barbara.
You can read all about how GPSmyCity works in my post GPS Guided Travel Articles: A New Way to Travel, but for now let’s get to those articles that are now available on I Tunes and Google Play.
Charleston, SC
Whenever someone asks me about Charleston, SC I get giddy like a school girl because I love this town so much. There is no place in the United States like Charleston, full of southern charm and beautiful details around every corner. The architecture and landscape designs are impeccable – Charleston residents take care of their city with pride, and to perfection. Wander the streets aimlessly and you will come upon one gem after the next. Dip into one of its many famed restaurants, and have a crazy delicious meal. Grab drinks at one of its rooftop bars at sunset, and life pretty much doesn’t get better than that! You can read about all there is to do in my post Ultimate Charleston Getaway Guide to America’s Most Beautiful City!
Nashville, TN
Nashville is a blast, there’s no denying it. It’s become one of the most popular destinations in the States for a bachelorette party, because it’s so much fun. But what about when you take the kids? Can you really do Nashville with kids? Of course you can! It’s not like kids don’t live there! We took our kids and had a great trip – from some kid-friendly music venues on Broadway to good restaurants to musical museums to the Ryman Auditorium, there’s plenty to do. You can read all about how to take a family vacation to Nashville in my post Nashville with Kids.
Santa Barbara, CA
Santa Barbara, nick-named the “Riviera of America”, is one of California’s most beautiful towns, nestled between the Santa Ynez mountains and the Pacific Ocean. There’s a tranquility and peacefulness to Santa Barbara that’s hard not to like. It’s just so pretty and pleasant. There’s plenty to do on a family vacation in this coastal city, from the beach to its own zoo, to the charming harbor, to biking on the coastal path, to exploring its famed Mission Santa Barbara. We really enjoyed our day trip to this California enclave, and you can read all about all there is to do in my post Santa Barbara with Kids.
