Welcome back to Faraway Files and my first one of 2019! Hope everyone is getting through the winter doldrums ok – this time of year is, quite frankly, rough. It was 9 degrees yesterday in New York. 9! And we still have February to get through..which is the magic of Faraway Files!..being swept away to another place through the writing and stories of so many travel bloggers.
This week I am linking up my post entitled Things to do with Kids in L.A. I’ve written a few 1 day itineraries on L.A., but this sums up all that you can do on a family vacation there. This super fun, colorful city on the beach is such a great place to take the kids for all that it offers, plus there are some other really beautiful towns nearby to explore, such as La Jolla and Santa Barbara.
