FREE GIVEAWAY! Newport and Rome Walking Guides

FREE GIVEAWAY! Newport and Rome Walking Guides

Do you like Giveaways? Who doesn’t?! Which is why I’m thrilled to announce a FREE giveaway of two of my articles as converted guided walking apps. What exactly does that mean? Well, I’ve teamed up with GPSmyCity, a travel publishing site, that takes travel articles and embeds the GPS coordinates of the destinations in the article, so that it becomes your own personalized walking tour. Instead of having a guide book, you can just look at the app on your phone! The best part is it doesn’t require internet access, and with this giveaway it’s free!

You can read all about how GPSmyCity works in my post GPS Guided Travel Articles: A New Way to Travel, but in the meantime let’s get to those articles that I’m giving away as a free upgrade.

Newport

First up is Newport, RI, one of my favorite places on the East Coast, or in the world for that matter! In my post Newport, RI: Top 10 Things to See and Do with Kids, I list 10 must-do activities with the kids, many of them things you’d want to do without kids as well. Think beaches, guilded-age mansions, the cliff walk, and Newport’s picturesque and quaint harbor and downtown. Newport is one of those cities that has it all and you’ll want to return again and again – it’s beautifully set on the water, has a buzzing downtown and nightlife, great restaurants, and it’s FUN.

Rome

Also part of the give-away is Rome. Yes, incredible Rome! Another one of my favorite cities in the world, I’ve been both with and without kids. My post Rome: Top 8 Things to See and Do with Kids covers some of the best things to do in Rome with the family, particularly during the intense summer heat. There’s the Coliseum, the Pantheon, Villa Borghese Park, and of course all the food and gelato, and so much more. Rome, surprising to some, is an amazing place to take the family, and extremely kid-friendly. We love Rome!

So how do you get the above articles converted to a free upgrade on the app?
