Merry Christmas from fifi + hop to you and yours! During this time of giving and thanks I’d like to say thank you to all my readers for following along with our adventures, and your interest and commentary. It’s always great to hear from you, whether you’re a blogger or not. 7 months ago I started this blog with the mission to inspire, so during this time of reflection, I hope I’ve been able to do that. And to all you bloggers out there, it’s been an amazing experience to “meet” so many of you and become a part of this wonderful blogging community, and hearing all your stories too.
Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of the year – the lights, the music, the colors, the spirituality, the egg-nog. I especially, as a mom, love all the activities surrounding this magical season. Whether it be a trip into NYC to see the tree, the ice rink, the angles, the department store windows, or seeing a show such as the Nutcracker or Radio City or the Holiday Train Show at the NY Botanical Garden; or doing local festive things like driving around at dusk to see all the neighborhood Xmas lights, a visit with Santa, Xmas parties, or simply, singing carols and a candle-lit Silent Night on Xmas eve – there is nothing more priceless than seeing my girls faces light up at the wonderment of it all. The clock is starting to tick on how much longer this innocence will last, so on this Christmas morning post-present unwrapping, I felt the need to put it in words. I’m not sure there’s anything better with kids than Christmastime.
Wishing everyone a joyous and happy holiday season, even if it does feel like Palm Beach wherever you are!
Amazing Corey, the photos especially of my beautiful grand daughters. I thank God for you everyday that you share your lives with us. On another note..your blogs are so informative and makes me long for daytrips. Merry Christmas to our precious blogger Corey
