A Must Have Travel Packing Hack by Design and Lifestyle Blogger Lorri Dyner

I am so pleased to have on my blog today Lorri Dyner, professional decorator and lifestyle extraordinaire, who has a must-have packing hack for wrinkle-free clothes, as seen on Meredith Vieira! I just tried it myself for our trip to Italy (currently writing from Rome), and I swear it works! Lorri has an amazing eye and is always in the know whether it be home decor or lifestyle improvement, I knew that it would. Take it away Lorri…

Hi everyone – I’m thrilled to be on Corey’s blog today! I’m a decorator and lifestyle / design blogger, and because fifi + hop is all about family travel I thought it would be fun to share a packing hack with you that has taken the internet by storm. It’s called the Clothing Burrito and it is THE way to pack if you want wrinkle-free clothes.

The Clothing Burrito has become so popular, Meredith Vieira asked me to show it to her live on her show a few months ago. You can see it here:

So there you have it. Wrinkle-free clothing and a ton of extra space in your bag! I get asked quite a bit if the Clothing Burrito actually works and the answer is YES! I packed a bag for a trip recently and I was so pleased that my dress for that evening in particular was ready to be worn. The key is to really wrap your clothes as taut as you can so that no wrinkles even have a chance to form.

One extra tip: if you decide to use your toiletry kit as the “solid core” that is totally fine, but just know that it takes a minute to unwrap the Clothing Burrito. It’s just good to bear that in mind in case you have medications (or anything else) you might need to access suddenly.

I hope you enjoyed my little ‘travel hack’ for the day. Thanks Corey for inviting me to visit!

Great tips! My advice is to put your fragrances in the socks. It is safer. I hope I was useful. Best regards!
